What willyou be doingOperating as a software engineer with a focus on JavaLearning new programming conceptsWorking in an End to End development environment to produce the best code possibleManaging business requirements to understand how system requirementsfit within the overall business solutionMonitoring requirements to understand how both functional and non-functional aspects (e.g. capacity, availability, response times, etc.) need to be metAnalysing and understanding customer needs and priorities toprovide quality servicesExplaining, advocating and expressing facts and ideas in a variety of settings orally, in presentations and in writing What were looking for:A background in Spring/Spring Boot, Java 8, Node, Gradle, Maven and AntExperiencewith JUnit, Mockito, Micro Services, CQRS and event sourcingExposure to RESTful Services, Git, MongoDB, Cassandra and Postgres Skills that will help you in the role:Exposure to Extreme Programming EnvironmentDevoOps skills (eg Docker, Jenkins etc) Ideally Javascript skills, particularly those including Angular/React or TypescriptExposure to OOP with C, C++, C#, Scale would all be very useful Where will you be working Based in our Manchester office, which is in the heart of the city centre.
