Java Developer - Creators of Londons Oyster Card SystemSalary up to £80K + Bonus + BenefitsWould you like to join the software development team who created Londons Oyster card ticketing system from scratchThis is an opportunity for a Java Developer to make a serious impact by building complex Java software that enables efficient travel across the country, directly impacting the daily lives of millions of passengers. We are a staple in the transport developmentsystem, working closely with important clientele like National Rail and TFL.The successful Java Developer will be involved with:

  • Building highly distributed multi-tier Java web services and interface designs that aid in the interaction with external ticketing systems.
  • Solving complex algorithmic problems in Java 8, Spring, Hibernate, Cloud deployment on AWS and GCP.
  • Agile methodologies and clean code development using TDD/BDD and continuous integration.
  • Design and usage of high-performance databases within SQL.
