Job Description

Technical Analyst needed for this blue-chip investment business. Working as part of a small team, in a predominantly Windows environment, this is a technical role and as well as taking and resolving service desk calls will be managing servers and cloud technologiesto support the business.Technically, the right Senior Technical Analyst is likely to have a background in 1st / 2nd Line Support in an ITIL Environment (ideally be ITIL certified) and have a good mix of

  • Active Directory/Azure Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows Server 2012 and above, Microsoft Exchange on premise & online etc.
  • Experiencing troubleshooting Windows 10/11 and macOS.
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals e.g. DHCP/DNS/VLANS cabling & patching.
  • Experience supporting iOS devices.
  • Experience working with MDM solutions.
  • Solid experience working with Office 2019/365 and above.
  • Basic understanding of remote desktop services, Microsoft RDS preferred.
  • Working understanding of virtualisation and cloud fundamentals
  • Risk aware with working knowledge of information security fundamentals.
  • Exposure of security products e.g. Mimecast, Sophos, Intune or similar.
