Job Description

IT Technical Specialist - End User Services / Hybrid / Permanent - £40,000Job Role This role is to ensure the smooth functioning of the ICT operational environments that support, core infrastructure (Compute, Storage, Virtualisation and Networking), Business Applications and End User Solution (Citrix, M365, Thin Clients) to thebusiness: Primary areas of responsibility include:Building, monitoring, maintaining, and supporting the existing Dell house infrastructure including servers, storage, backup solutions, firewalls, network, data and applications including patch cyclesStrong knowledge of administrating and supporting M365 including Exchange Online Teams, Autopilot, and Intune.Strong knowledge of administrating and supporting Azure including Azure AD, Site Recovery, Backup and core Tenant best practices and security standards.Good understanding of Network (Dell) and Voice solutions (Avaya and 8x8)An understanding of End User Technologies like Citrix, Thin Clients (Dell and 10Zig) solutions.Using automation for repeat tasks and checks to improve efficiencies, accuracy and reduce work effortMaintain L3 ticket queue for all infrastructure and escalationsResolve incidents, investigate root cause, and undertake problem managementWork Experience and Qualifications A solid background working within a busy IT team and experience in supporting technical solutionsStrong experience in general Wintel support with Microsoft stack.Experience in an IT role, implementing change and projects successfully across multiple locationsVirtualisation technology experience (VMWare)Microsoft Cloud technologies (Azure, CBA, MFA, Teams, Intune) and other SaaS/UCaaS like 8x8Understanding of Linux would be an advantage.
