A reputable and growing technology company is looking for a proven IT Systems Engineer / DevOps Engineer to join an established team. The role will be based remotely and from their South London office.The successful candidate will be tasked with configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting the software high-availability infrastructure, including assisting with scalable and resilient systems design, problem diagnostics and performance optimisation as wellas configuring and maintaining the live systems.You must have proven experience in an IT Systems Engineer, Linux / Unix Systems Administrator, DevOps Engineer, SecOps Engineer or similar systems role, ideally for a medium-sized user base in a fast-moving industry. It is essential to have excellent customerservice skills, the ability to prioritise IT queries, a strong academic record with a good knowledge of Linux, Amazon AWS, Jenkins, Git / Gitlab, and monitoring tools (LibreNMS, Nagios, Mutiny or similar). The ideal candidate will also have a strong interest in DevOps skills such as automating system configuration management/ release (Docker / Ansible) as well as infrastructure security and data privacyThis IT Systems Engineer / DevOps Engineer role represents an opportunity for a tech-savvy professional to join an exciting business with extensive growth plans and excellent IT career prospects.
