Job Description

Here in the UK we employ around 5,000 people across the country to deliver services that have a profound impact on peoples lives.From assessments and health services to employability programmes and specialist support, we do work that matters with people who care.Job Summary Build, maintain and support Maximus UK IT environmentson premises and in the Cloud - in accordance with industry best practice and ITIL standards Provide third line support to the business, ensuring that servers and underlying IT systems are available for useThis role will be recruited in anticipation of Contract Reward.Essential Job Duties Manage Group Policy and Active Directory structure Manage O365 deployment and its on going administration Manage on premises infrastructure (Citrix, Telephony, VSphere, SAN, firewalls, F5 load balancers ) and resources in the Cloud Manage Microsoft IIS administration, web security, firewalls and VPNs and ensure company security standards are met Deliver BAU activities in accordance with industry best practice and ITIL standards (ie, daily checks, patching, backup, performance monitoring) Conduct investigations into operational problems, make proposals for improvement, and implement them when appropriate Review releases, upgrades and fixes available from system software suppliers and identify those which merit action. Maintain awareness of existing and emerging software and hardware solutions and develops upgrade plans Prepare software implementation procedures with fall back contingency plans. Installs and tests new versions of system software Maintain and test DR/BCP plans Deal with 3rd line support tickets transferred by the Service Desk Take ownership of incidents and problems, ensuring systems and users are kept up to date Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adheres to all service management principles Comply with the Maximus UK Change Management process Produce and maintain accurate process documentation in accordance with the ISMSEducation and Experience Requirements Qualifications & Experience Experience of installing, configuring, maintaining services and applications in Microsoft Azure (O365, PowerBI ) Hands on experience on Microsoft environment including Active Directory, Exchange TCP/IP, ADFS, VMware, SAN solutions, Load balancers, SolarWinds, MDM Intune, .. Experience in XenApp 7.0 Configuration, administration and performance monitoring Familiar with IaaS concepts and methodologies Experience in looking after a VOIP communications system Qualifications & Experience Able to communicate to all levels of staff, both verbally and in written format Able to work on his/her own initiative Able to multitasks Manage well work pressure and priorities changes At ease in an ever changing environment Embrace new technologies and new processes with enthusiasmEEO Statement MAXIMUS is committed to developing, maintaining and supporting a culture of equality and diversity in employment in which our employees as well as candidates for employment are treated equitably.
