IT Support Technician - Full Time - Permanent - Broxbourne/Ware Campus - Salary £16,725 - £23,515 per annum dependent on experience and qualifications Hertford Regional College are looking for an IT Support Technician to provide first and second line ITsupport to HRC staff and students. You will be part of an IT Support Team that are involved with IT related incidents and requests at every stage - from logging tickets in our Service Management System through to investigation, troubleshooting and resolution/escalation.The role holder will also be expected to contribute to the effective operation and maintenance of the wider IT Services Department as part of our continual service improvement plan. The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a helpdesk environment- Providing first/second line technical support, sound demonstrable knowledge on a range of IT devices and services including: PCs (desktops/laptops), MFDs/printers, mobile devices, audio-visual components and networking equipment. They will also have experienceof supporting users in a mixed Microsoft Windows/MacOS environment. Knowledge , ability and experience of trouble-shooting and resolving a spectrum of first/second line issues ranging from hardware through to software is a must. The post holder will be requiredto work varying shifts to include evenings as part of normal hours.
