Job Description

IT Support TechnicianChelsea, London- Initial 3 Month Temp to Perm Contract - £30000 per annumOur client in Chelsea are recruiting for an IT Support Technician to join their team on an initial 3 month Contract term with an expectation of this then going to a perm role thereafter.This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious professional to work and gain experience in an innovative environment.The IT Support Technician will play an important role in the work of our clients Technical Services Department. The successful candidate will help deliver technical support to staff members and support the audio-visual system provision throughout our clientssite.The post-holder will also be expected to participate in project work integral to our clients continued strategic development, supporting an ambitious public engagement programme which includes digital broadcasts, assist in digital transformation and thedevelopment of the clients technical systems architecture.The post-holder will have the opportunity to undertake research and development in areas pertinent to their role and will be encouraged to develop relevant skills.Required experience:

  • Previous experience of technical support, including help desk, software and hardware issues, presentation troubleshooting and general problem-solving;
  • Experience of technical support for the clients audio-visual systems, enhancing their customers experience and minimising disruption;
  • Previous delivery of proactive IT service support, including configuration, maintenance and upgrading of software and hardware;
  • Experience with both Windows and MacOS
  • Experience with Audio and Visual systems
Person Specification
  • Minimum of 1 years experience in a similar role in a professional organisational environment.
  • Excellent understanding of various IT systems and a passion to learn about new and upcoming technology and software.
  • Ability to find solutions and assist staff at all levels.
  • Customer focused outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and deliver on deadlines.
  • Able to deal with a pressurised workload.
  • Enthusiastic, hardworking and a team player
