Job Description

LondonEnergy are currently looking to recruit an IT Support Engineer to work within our IT Department located in Edmonton, North London.As the IT Support Engineer, you willbe responsible for 2nd/3rd level IT support engineer duties including implementing and supporting IT systems. As part of a diverse IT team, you would be installing, administering and supporting 350 + usersacross 7 locations in London.The IT estate is a mix of on-premises and cloud technologies so experience of working in a hybrid environment would be beneficial. The post holder will also be responsible for liaising with third-party IT contractors to ensure installation, maintenance,and support of IT systems as required by the department.As our IT Support Engineer, you are also responsible for:

  • Resolving IT incidents and fulfilling IT requests logged with the department via the service desk (email, phone or walk-ins).
  • Helping IT projects with IT engineering and support deliverables for IT elements of projects (especially NLHPP) and implementing them within specified deadline and cost.
  • Liaising with third-party contractors in delivering IT architecture level installation and support as required by the business and other projects especially NLHPP.
  • Escalating the need for additional IT support to third party providers in good time and tracking progress thereafter.
  • Adhering to the companys change management and continual service improvement processes.
  • Providing IT support and third-party liaison for the following systems as required by the business and related projects.
  • Liaison with third party contractors and suppliers for IT repairs and replacements under warranty and monitoring supplier performance against contracts.
  • Knowledge and Experience:IT Field Engineer experience will be essential as there will be a couple of site walks and remote site visits.
  • Experience in liaising with third party suppliers or contractors.
  • The position will require you to drive to different location - Driving license is required.
