Job Description

IT Support Engineer - Job SpecificationACM Resourcing are working with production company, who are looking to recruit a IT Support Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.The role is to provide IT technical support staff and freelancers, using the support ticketing system to manage workload, assisting in planned maintenance, assisting IT projects, and keeping in line with company standards and procedures adopted by the ITdepartment. Most importantly to ensure that the day-to-day support and maintenance processes of technical systems and applications are efficiently operated. Core working hours for this role will be 10.00am - 6pm.Key Duties:

  • Provide day-to-day IT support to end-users in a predominantly Apple Mac (90%) environment.
  • Investigate, resolve & escalate technical issues from staff via email, internal ticketing system, and in person.
  • New user set-up and onboarding/ training.
  • Directory adm lways in working order and ready to be used.
  • Software asset management and installations.
  • Taking ownership of user issues, identifying trends and appropriate solutions to wider company IT issues.
  • Creating and updating end-user guides/ documentation with clear and concise instructions.
Personal Skills:Essential:
  • Experience in a face-to-face IT support role with a minimum of 1+ years in IT
  • A strong understanding of Mac OSX
  • Experience with using remote access services to support end-users.
  • Experience with User administration systems such as JumpCloud, Active Directory.
  • Excellent communication skills
    • Ability to nurture relationships within the business and keep internal customers informed.
    • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively manage their time & workload under pressure and tight deadlines
  • A strong team player with a genuine interest in technology and the drive to learn and grow within the position
Desirable:
  • Experience with G-Suite Administration
  • Formal IT support qualifications such as CompTIA, ITIL, Mac, or Windows Certifications
  • Foundational network knowledge/experience, working with WiFi, Switches, VoIP, Printers.
  • Experience administering cloud storage services (G-Drive, Dropbox for business, etc)
  • Experience administering mobile devices using an MDM (Jamf, Airwatch, Meraki, etc)
  • Familiarity with cloud & virtualization technologies (AWS, Azure, VMware)
  • Experience working with/ administrating creative production tools (Adobe CC, Avid)
  • Initiative to bring forward long-term solutions to recurring problems.
  • inistration and troubleshooting via Jumpcloud & G-Suite.
  • Supporting company-defined applications including such as G-Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud.
