* Security Incident Event Management (SIEM)* Incident Response* Network Intrusion DetectionIT Security Operations Engineer - London/remoteRoleOur client is in the banking sector and has a vacancy for an Information Security Operations Engineer. The role will support the day to day operational security duties of the bank. You will have experience working in a SOC environment with demonstrable knowledge of Advanced Threat Protection and Network Intrusion Detection tool sets alongside a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system and fully understand Incident ManagementResponse. Ideally you will have previous relevant experience and are looking to develop your career in a small, agile team. Responsibilities* Make sure that Information Security and Cyber risk is identified and managed* Create new ways to solve security issues * Support incident investigations* Support and participate in Blue teaming* Recommend modifications in legal, technical and regulatory areas that affect IT security.* Assist with managing services, suppliers, partners and stakeholders.* Supporting stakeholders with InfoSec guidance and assessing any information security risks within their business areas.Skills & Experience* Experience as a "hands on" technical security engineer/analyst* Experience in working with SOCs (on-site and off-site) and 3rd Parties* Experience in securing both on-premise and off-premise Infrastructure deployments* Knowledge of key Azure and server security services beneficial* Ability to demonstrably link security solutions to business goals and objectives* Proficient in at least one scripting language and/or tool (e.g. Python, PowerShell)* Experience in working with applications, example DLP toolsPlease email your CV to apply for this opportunity
