IT Risk Lead - Financial servicesExciting opportunity to join a leading player within its respective market.The role sits within Risk Team. This team contributes to the overall success of the business by providing the framework and information that supportsthe delivery of the strategy within the acceptable limits established by the Board.Responsibilities will include:Lead on the IT risk strategy and framework. Maintain and progress IT risk policies and frameworks that support the management of IT risk.Advisethe Head of Non-Financial Risk of new, evolving, emerging or crystallising cyber, system and IT threats as it relates to the business and the insurance industry, and ensure these are maintained within the Risk Register.Provide support and challenge and adviceto the CISO on information security strategy.Provide challenge and support to the business when considering IT risks as part of the ongoing RCSA process.To support the management and maintenance of the Risk Register, Risk Management Framework (including ITrisk policies and procedures), risk appetite and limits, key risk indicators, risk management information, stress and scenario testing, and risk governance framework; facilitating embedding of the IT risk framework on behalf of the Head of NFR.Contribute tothe annual ORSA work from an IT, security and cyber risk perspective.Provide assurance to the Head of NFR on risk and controls through periodic deep dive reviews, investigations and general oversight work.Provide assurance over IT capabilities referred toin Business Continuity and IT Disaster Recovery Plans.Input to the quarterly Management Risk and Board Risk Committees on the cyber security and IT risk environment.Knowledge and experience required:Experience in developing and embedding IT risk frameworks.Knowledgeof IT processes, standards, policies and procedures.Knowledge of key IT systems, data, cyber, legal regulatory and industry requirements.Knowledge and experience of cyber risks including processes for monitoring and controlling these risks.Qualifications:Relevant Information Security qualification indicating level of knowledge and experience in the field (CISSP, CISM, CISA or CRISC for example)5-10 years prior experience of an Information Security or Risk Management role in a relevant financial services entity(insurance, asset management, banking)Familiarity with the UK regulatory environment and insurance or investment industry.
