Job Description

**Permanent role****£75k - £130k per annum (+ package)****SPONSORSHIP -AVAILABLE****Hybrid working - home/office split**The Company A Fortune 500 company based in the City of London.The RoleAs a Reliability Engineer youwill collaborate with product development teams. You role will be to continually improve the services and facilitate fast delivery of new products while eliminating toil and operational work.Role Responsibilities

  • Partner with global development teams to improve services via rigorous testing, release procedures and development of CI/CD pipelines
  • Balance feature development velocity and reliability by constructing well-defined SLOs
  • Responsible for availability, performance, monitoring, incident response and resolution for platforms and services.
  • The team uses the following technologies: Java, Python, Git, Sybase/DB2, SecDb and Kubernetes
Essential skills
  • Site Reliability Engineer / DevOps background
  • Coding experience - Java, Python, Golang preferred
Desirable skills
  • Familiarity with continuous integration/deployment technologies
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), e.g. Ansible
  • Orchestration experience - Kubernetes, Docker
  • Scripting in Python, Bash or similar language
