Job Description

IT Project Manager - Financial Services/ FinTech - Home Based - 65k-80k + Equity/ Bonus Incentives I have partnered with a scaling Investment Management/ FinTech firm who recently celebrated 10 years in business. They have a model of evidence-based investing and have recently launched a Fintech arm to their business.The Role

  • Reporting to the CTO in a small close-knit IT department theyre looking for a motivated technical project manager who can not only hear about processes that need automation but can actually take them away from the different teams temporarily. This willallow you to get a feel for what they require, and work with the technical team to automate them. Not all automation tasks will require bespoke programming, so when youll define the problem at hand, you will be required to look at all the different ways tosolve it and find the most efficient solution.
  • As the first in-house project manager, youll be working directly with their CTO and will be key to shaping our inward- and outward-facing software solutions.
  • If you are the right candidate, you have experience in a similar role where you have analysed requirements, outlined the desired solutions, worked with the technical and design teams as well as other stakeholders to get feedback, prioritised tasks and ensureddeadlines are met.
  • They are primarily working remotely but you will be expected to come to our central London office once a week on set days when the whole company or team meet. They will set you up with all the technical equipment to make your work as efficient as possible.
Required skills:
  • 3 years + of experience in technical project management.
  • Previous experience with planning technical products or working closely with a product manager.
  • Excellent analytic and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly
  • Ability to learn new software and processes quickly.
  • Willingness to take ownership of manual tasks and executing them until a technical solution is developed.
Nice to have:
  • Experience in the financial sector.
  • Past employment in a startup or being part of a small autonomous team.
  • Knowledge of Xero, SharePoint, Power Automate, Power BI, and other Microsoft technologies.
  • Data analysis, Database and Excel experience.
