Job Description

Kennedys is looking for a customer focused and technically minded IT Product Specialist to join our existing IT Product management team.Our IT Product Management team is comprised of proactive experts that focus on internal and external applications to provide guidance on procurement, adoption, and lead the innovation of internally developed systems.TeamKennedys IT team is responsible for delivery of a responsive, effective and timely IT support service to the firms employees and clients.They devise and implement operational processes and procedures in order to provide reliable and available IT systems to the firm.Our IT team comprises of IT Operations, Applications, Infrastructure, Business and Systems Analysis, Project Management, Developers, Engineers, and IT Training for the business.Our IT team is based in London and Chelmsford and has a presence in five global offices.Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the subject matter expert in the configuration and adaptation of the various workflow solutions (e.g. ServiceDesk Plus, BigHand) and other applications across the firm, ensuring the solutions are optimally configured and functioning for the users
  • Deliver consulting advice around best practice on ensuring the tools deliver the best end-user experience and operational efficiencies; encourage and drive adoption of tools within the firm
  • Create and provide training to teams as they adopt relevant solutions and for new capabilities delivered during upgrades
  • Chair and manage a user community to encourage feedback, share best practices and improve adoption
  • Manage software suppliers, helping to set development priorities, keeping informed of product roadmaps and lead testing of post-upgrade systems
  • Assist in the management and support of other legal applications as necessary.
Required experience
  • Training: producing documentation and leading training sessions
  • Adoption: engaging with end users to encourage and drive adoption
  • Technical:
    • System administration including workflow configuration
    • Administrating service helpdesk systems, E.G. ServiceDesk Plus, Service now
    • Desirable experience
      • IIS and administering Windows server
      • Working with relational databases
      • Using SQL to produce reports
    • Supplier: guiding and leading 3rd party vendors
    • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels.
