We are lookingfor aseasoned and hands-on IT Manager! Our client islooking for a confident and experienced Manager toshape their IT strategy, spearhead projects, and own the entire IT department. This integral roleis a standalone position responsiblefor managingthe infrastructure and IT Support for the business. You will also be responsible for improving the companys security and defining projects where needed to improve efficiency of current systems and operations.Position: Hands-On IT ManagerLocation:London, Stratford (On-site)Company: Leading Professional Services FirmResponsibilities:As the IT Manager, your key responsibilities will include leading IT strategy to drive innovation through the crafting and implementation of cutting-edge IT strategies aligned with our business goals.You will ensure the seamless operation of allIT systems by promptly addressing and resolving reported issues across all support tiers for up to 100 employees. Take charge of IT management, offering support and innovative solutions to enhance the utilizationof the latest technology with the responsibilityfor overseeing the IT budget, procurement processes, and managing licenses and contracts. You will handle the management of Windows servers, including firewall configuration and ongoing maintenance,manage useraccounts on multiple systems, providesupport during onboarding and offboarding processesand uphold the overall health of the organisations IT infrastructure, contributing to its efficiency and reliability.You will also have to opportunity to actively participate in diverse projects, utilising your expertise throughout the entire project lifecycle from conception to execution, with a focus on ensuring success and operational efficiency.Skills required:- Previous experience in IT management, showcasing leadership and strategic thinking, ideally within a professional services environment.- Windows and Microsoft Suite experience including Office 365.- Experience working with IT projects.- Experience with VMware- Knowledge of Cyber security and its principles.- Knowledge or experience with Accounting software is desirable.
