IT Manager Interim - Perm (Initially 6-9 months temping) £28.75ph (£50kpa perm equivalent) We are current recruiting for a leading health charity of c200 staff for a IT Manager. The IT Manager is primarily responsible for providing and managing the IT support function for the organisation. Managing a support team of five, the post holder will possess strong leadership and management skills, in addition to a broad level of IT technical expertise. This will be a hands-on role with the post holder expected to act as an escalation point for any 3rd line issues or requests. In addition to overall responsibility for the IT Support function, the post holder will be an excellent communicator who will work with users at all levels to ensure that they have access to IT systems, services and applications that support the delivery of high-quality services leading to the achievement of the organisations objectives and targets.The IT environment consists of a Cisco networking backbone (Meraki, Firepower and ISE devices) with a primarily Windows (10 and Server) server and desktop infrastructure (small on-premise footprint with the rest now in Azure). The organisation are heavy adopters of the Office 365 stack, alongside a small set of 3rd party applications. The IT team perform a large amount of data analysis across all teams, and therefore have suitable hardware, software and processes to support this.
