IT Infrastructure SpecialistLocation: East Central, LondonSalary: £50,000 - £70,000Job DescriptionWe are currently looking for an experienced and highly motivated IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our clients global Infrastructure team in East Central London. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a globally recognised billion-pound organisation.The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise in the areas of IT infrastructure, systems engineering, software development and cloud technologies. You will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining and developing the globalIT Infrastructure, as well as the ongoing global migration from on-prem to Cloud. You will also be responsible for the development of new solutions, processes and standards. Main Responsibilities* Monitor, support and maintain the global on-premise and cloud infrastructures (manage ongoing global migration)* Manage the security and integrity of data and IT systems. Educating staff on good workingpractices* Manage, and implement infrastructure projects* Respond to 2nd / 3rd line Help Desk calls and manage such items through to resolution* Perform regular preventative maintenance checks* Provide technical and operational support for IT Infrastructure* Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures* Management of external suppliersTechnical Skills* Microsoft cloud technologies, M365, AzureAD, Defender ATP, EndPoint Manager, OneDrive* Excellent understanding of Windows Servers (2012, 2016 & 2019), Active Directory including Group Policies* VMWare, vCentre, & ESXi* Storage, SAN, NAS & Backup Technologies* Azure cloud landing zones, networking & automation* Management of Zabbix & SolarWinds Patch Manager* Implementation and management of web technologies, for example IIS, .NET, SSL-VPN* Project management / integration projects* Extensive knowledge of IP, WAN, LAN (HPE servers & Aruba Switches) & Wifi Networking,specifically ArubaIf you are interested in this role and feel you have the necessary skills, please apply now for immediate consideration and interview.
