Job Description

Job Title: Housing IT Programme ManagerContract Duration: 3-6 monthsLocation: LondonDaily Rate: £850/day (Outside IR35)must have Local Authority experienceKey Responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective handover from the current programme lead.
  • Maintain near-term delivery while conducting a programme/project review.
  • Collaborate with Executive Sponsors to drive potential revisions in scope and priority.
  • Understand revised scope and explore potential options moving forward.
  • Gain agreement from informed Sponsors on the way forward, including a revised Programme Schedule articulated through the Programmes Roadmap.
  • Oversee and ensure the programme delivers to the agreed Roadmap.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Hands-on experience in formal project and programme management in both governed and agile environments, with a strong focus on delivery.
  • Proven experience in Programme turn-around/revision.
  • Skilled in dealing with senior stakeholders and presenting at Board-level.
  • Previous success in delivering Local Authority Housing solutions and technology.
  • Understanding of current Digital agendas in the Public Sector.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience in project and programme management methodologies.
  • Ability to navigate both governed and agile project environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially at the senior stakeholder and Board-level.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering Local Authority Housing solutions and technology.
  • In-depth understanding of current Digital agendas in the Public Sector.
