We are currently looking for a IT desktop officer to join an exciting project where you will initially be supporting the fight against Covid. The role is based in the London area. As the IT desktop officer you will be responsible for leading all IT activities on site including responding to service desk queries and implementing new technology.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Your duties as the IT Desktop officer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:1. Act as site IT support for all IT related matters. Taking the lead in IT project work, IT support and implementation for a new manufacturing site 2. You will provide IT desktop support including desktop/laptop support including the following technologies: Microsoft Office 365 products Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Internet Explorer, Windows 7, Q-Pulse, SAP By design, desktops, laptops, printers, networked copiers and others as assigned3. As the IT desktop officer you will help on site collaborators access equipment and data systems as well as ensuring that acceptable service levels are maintained across all systems4. You will be responsible for IT Security, IT asset management, Software licensing etc ROLE REQUIREMENTS:To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the IT desktop officer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:1. Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field; or equivalent work experience2. Proven industry experience in an IT desktop support role in a highly regulated environment ideally biotech, pharmaceutical, health or similar 3.
