Job Description

Senior IT Business AnalystPharmaceutical Sector / FMCG Sector Grovelands are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join an innovative pharmaceutical client we have been working with for the last 3 years, they are going through a rapid period of growth and need to build a solid permanent IT team to support this growthRole Description:The Senior Associate, Business Analyst will play a key role working across the Commercial teams on various business / technology initiatives. This role will encompass business analysis, end-to-end project delivery including assisting with project management, change management and integration architecture. This role is responsible for supporting initiatives primarily within the Commercial teams (such as Sales, Marketing and Medical). In addition to critical thinking and project execution, this role will include ongoing support and adoption management for the business community.Responsibilities:

  • Develops a detailed understanding of Commercial business processes to collaborate with stakeholders as new technology solutions and improvements are implemented
  • Create and develop deliverable outputs at various levels and collate materials as needed to drive project progress (ex. SDLC deliverables, training, presentations, data analysis, notes, scheduling)
  • Assist and support software testing and validation efforts to ensure software is delivered in compliance to user requirements and applicable regulatory requirements (GxP, SOX)
  • Provides post-training systems and process support as needed (e.g., outstanding questions / issues, refresher training, sharing of best practice, additional copies of learning materials, on-the job support)
  • Ensures adoption of technology capabilities and business process improvements to drive business growth, especially related to Sales, Marketing and Medical processes and systems (Veeva CRM, Salesforce, Vault, and others)
  • Perform related monitoring, maintenance, and system administration tasks to ensure application systems are functioning properly
  • Work within established change control procedures to ensure proposed changes to applications and business processes are appropriately assessed, triaged, tested and deployed
  • Collaborate and coordinate with vendors to ensure their work and spend are consistent with project delivery expectations / standards
  • Required Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related technical or business discipline.
  • 5+ years of related experience, including experience in the pharmaceutical/medical device industry.
  • Experience with Commercial systems and solutions such as:
  • CRM solutions using Veeva and Salesforce.com.
  • Marketing applications, multi-channel tools, and web sites / digital properties.
  • Master Data Management, Medical Information Databases, and reporting tools.
  • Experience serving as a business relationship manager or consultant to a Commercial organization
  • Project delivery experience in a Commercial environment with both structured and agile SDLC delivery methodologies as well as computer systems validation (CSV) processes.
  • Change management experience integrating key change management principals and tools with the implementation of new capabilities preparing the business for change.
  • Vendor management experience including vendor due diligence, contracting, and performance management.
  • High-energy, customer-centric approach with a quality and value delivery focus
  • Conceptual and analytical thinker; able to understand, analyze, and synthesize complex business and technology issues and strategies.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and communication skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation within a global organization
