IP Network ArchitectStarting salary between £75k- £85k negotiable depending on experiencePlus bonusPlus excellent benefitsBased in Central LondonFlexible working availableThe OpportunityAre you an IP Network Architect looking for something interestingWould you like to get involved in on of the most exciting programme of works in the UK that is going to revolutionise the daily lives of commuters in LondonThis project is to roll out 4G mobile connectivity across the London Underground network. While platform access is available for Wi-Fi at the moment, this network build and deployment programme will allow that access to data when on the move in the tunnels.Ready to play your part on the project that is going to change the way we all work and live in the CityThen read on...The RoleThis role is working for the client and network owner and as IP Network Architect, your role is to build, implement and maintain our IP network infrastructure and services as a core pillar of our customer led strategy.Working in partnership with vendors and outsourcing partners this role will provide high performing and reliable solutions to meet our business needs.Primary Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Develop and implement security processes, procedures, policies and protocols for network management
  • Explore, assess and share relevant knowledge on new and emerging technologies including Wi-Fi, small cells, Fibre and the use of DAS beyond distribution
  • Be part of the core technology team owning the long-term end-to-end network architecture working with colleagues from our group function to leverage expertise and capability.
