IR Managers are responsible for deepening and solidifying relationships with their current client base as well as developing new connections with prospective investors within the firms current product offering as well new business areas, with a view to creatinghigh quality and quantity audiences for clients.For each region, Investor Relations managers will work on the audience development strategy for each event, recruiting delegates and speakers and compiling Advisory Boards of investors to be achieved through regular communication with investors and personalresearch via different platforms and databases.The role requires:Persuasive communications skills both written and oral, and ability to cross-sellExcellent organisation skills and meticulous attention to detailVery good phone manners and sales skills. Presentation and public speaking skills are a plusDraft and collect feedback (well-written notes) from investor calls and meetings in order to help Program Directors prepare AgendasAbility to work under pressure and deadlinesAbility to discern prioritiesUnderstanding of the territory and ability to grow within the market.Self-starter and resilient attitudeTeam playerA good understanding of investment management industry and in-depth knowledge investor client base, and curiosity to continue learning moreComfortable with traveling abroadAn interest for staying abreast of global news and a mature grasp of general affairs (particularly in their region); a good understanding of social, political and economic trends and how these impact the investment industryAudience development planning understandingAbility to run event project timeline on schedule and liaise with wider IR team to keep tasks on trackAbility to grow new business targets and strengthen already existing relationshipsHave regular communication lines with investors through face-to-face meetings, calls and emailsProficiency in Salesforce, Excel, Pardot, Boomset and other event planning related CRM toolsAbility to work alongside Marketing team to advise on lead generation projects and explain our needs and audience targets to marketingWork with Program Directors, Client Coordinators and Logistics Managers leading up to an event; communicate effectively with all staff involved in the project managementSource content from investors for the Allocator Intel Network.Willing to travel to the Benelux regionArabic preferred but not essential.
