Job Description

DescriptionWe have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Analyst to join our Investments division in our London office. The role is alongside another Senior Analyst and will be responsible for providing investment input to and oversight for bespoke, key client accounts.Sitting within the investment team, the role works closely with client relationship managers and stakeholders across the business. A broad role, it is important that applicants have the ability and desire to encompass both aspects:

  • Direct key client engagement
  • Investment research for ideas internally sourced and provided by clients; spanning across asset classes, including public and private markets
Key ResponsibilitiesPRINCIPAL ELEMENTS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Work closely with the investment and client teams to provide investment support to key client accounts that require a high level of bespoke investment input
  • Independently and collaboratively deliver ad hoc projects and bespoke investment work for specific client projects. This work will extend across asset classes, in both public and private markets
  • Provide oversight to, and management information on the monitoring of key client accounts
  • Participate in investment decisions on investments covered
  • Produce regular reviews of general performance and key drivers on accounts being supported.
  • Produce presentational material and commentary to support client servicing
  • Attend client meetings for acquisition and servicing, this may include some overseas travel
  • Adhere to Compliance policies and procedures, undertaking appropriate regulatory training and deal with potential breaches of compliance policies without delay
COMPETENCIES, SKILLS AND BEHAVIOURS We are open to hearing from a wide range of backgrounds, it may be that your past experience has been research focused and you wish to spend more of your time interacting with clients, or you have focused on client interaction and wish to expand your researchexpertise.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex information and data to a spectrum of experience levels
  • Ability to produce highly technical and detailed information
  • Self-motivated, enjoy managing your own workload to meet changing demands while transitioning from task to task effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills, good at building positive relationships
  • Attention to detail and an awareness and appreciation of risk issues
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Research experience, identifying, selecting and managing allocation across asset classes and preferably across both public and private markets
  • Experience engaging with clients directly regarding investment ideas
  • Relevant FCA regulatory and RDR qualifications to carry out RDR activities
  • Appropriate IT skills and systems experience
