Job Description

Investment Specialist - Equity 22 Bishopsgate, London - Hybrid Permanent At AXA IM our purpose, to act for human progress by investing for what matters, is central to every action we take as a business. As a future Investment Specialist - Equity, you will report to the Head of Investment Specialists, and you will be part of AXA IM Core. DISCOVER your opportunity Investment specialists combine high level of investment knowledge and business development mindset, working to directly contribute to the growth of AXA IM Core in partnership with Investment Teams & Client Group. Your role and responsibilities will include:

  • Represent AXA IM investment teams in client-facing occasions with a focus on equity quantitative/systematic investing strategies (this may evolve to other strategies going forward):
    • Lead responsibility for representing the Equity Quantitative Investing (EQI) platform with existing assigned clients and prospects.
    • In liaison with all parts of the company, gather, organise information on the firm, the strategies, processes, portfolios and performances for the purpose of responding to ad hoc questions, preparing investment review material and attending/delivering performancereview meetings.
    • Closely work with the sales teams globally to identify client needs and present accordingly existing strategies and/or what might be a solution to their guidelines.
  • Update and create investment related content for assigned investment strategies:
    • Own the marketing message for assigned strategies and produce high quality content for external audiences, including fund presentations, web content and other promotional literature.
    • Writing regular publications (e.g., Perspectives documents, monthly letters) as required
    • Keep marketing materials up to date.
  • New business development:
    • Being the main point of contact for sales, investments specialists work with the RFP team to structure appropriate and high-quality answers to prospect requests. Participate in sales process from RFP review/support to finals pitches.
    • Support the organisation and structure the AXA IM Equity QI inputs for due diligences and other client events (trainings, roadshows, marketing event, etc.)
    • Contribute to the development and promotion of new products and solutions, most likely to respond to future investor demand.
  • Active contributor to the regular EQI investment team meetings
    • Help to define key performance messages for flagship strategies.
    • Provide relevant clients/sales teams feedback
Your ProfileSHARE your unique expertise We welcome different combinations of skills & experiences. Your qualifications and experience:
  • Bachelors degree or higher required.
  • Any other qualifications related to the Asset Management industry would be advantageous.
  • Experience in a similar/same role within Asset Management or Financial Services
  • Demonstrated client facing experience dealing directly with wholesale/retail and/or institutional clients.
Your knowledge and skills:
  • Strong equity quantitative/systematic investing and RI knowledge
  • Perfect command of English required (written and verbal). French would be a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, is required.
  • Ability to write articulately and concisely on technical subjects is a must.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enthusiastic, willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Able to prioritise and maintain a positive attitude in fast-moving situations.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to details and reactive behaviour
  • Creativity in the way of presenting information
