We are now working with a major global asset management firm based in London. An exceptional opportunity has now arisen for an Investment Research Associate to join their European Research Team, focused on ESG investing. In this role, you will advise PortfolioManagers in the European office on the implications of environmental, social and environmental policy and regulations on the future profitability and credit worthiness of their investments. You need to be passionate about both sustainability issues and globalmarkets, and who has experience analyzing ESG issues whether that be through their academic studies or in their professional career. The ideal candidate will bring subject matter expertise on Environmental issues in particular, ideally alongside Governancetopics and Social issues, along with an understanding of how these can impact sovereign debt; They are looking for someone who has a background as follows: - Masters level Economist degree - Academic or professional experience in ESG - Background in research,policy, credit analysis, economist - Economic modelling skills to show the impact of ESG on investing - Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills;
