Opportunity: An exciting opportunity for a graduate with a keen interest in personal wealth management to join a growing, collegiate, ambitious and hardworking team. Support through appropriate further qualifications is available and strongly encouraged.Role: Investment Operations Trainee sought to provide administrative support in the implementation of investment activity and reporting on client portfolios. Role would suit graduate with demonstrable interest in personal financial advice or investment operations (dealing, portfolio reporting and analysis), or an individual with one or two years experience in a similar role.Qualifications: Minimum 2:1 at degree level. Must be highly numerate and have extremely strong written English skills. Experienced user of Microsoft Word and Excel. Prior experience of using XPlan or similar CRM system would be advantageous.Skills: Role holder will be personable, detail focussed and highly organised.Tasks:Role will involve:· Client Onboarding; providing administrative support in connection with client on-boarding.· Portfolio Valuations: preparing and checking accuracy of all valuations produced for clients.· Portfolio Maintenance: implementation of initial and on-going advice on client portfolios.· Performance Reporting: preparation of performance reports for invested assets.· Data Integrity: conducting routine and ad-hoc data checks to ensure the ongoing integrity of client data.· Cross training to be provided in support of other areas of the business (financial planning, investment) in busy periods.· Above requirements to lead to role holder undertaking portfolio analysis over longer term.Standards & Culture· Methodical and organised approach to ensure completion of all tasks by agreed dates· Monitoring of portfolios and control log updates as required· Undertaking of ad hoc administration on portfolios as requested· Observe and comply with the FCA Conduct Rules applicable to your role.Heronsgate Capital are an Equal Opportunities Employer.
