Your primary responsibility will be negotiating investment management agreements for our diverse client base.You will manage projects effectively, ensuring that workload is prioritised and deadlines are met. Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders will be integral to your role. Despite your focus on the EMEA region, you will also provide supportto other geographical regions as required, reflecting the global nature of our operations. Furthermore, you will have opportunities to contribute to wider initiatives and documentation aspects relating to other aspects of our business.* Provide general business support for the segregated account business within the EMEA region* Negotiate investment management agreements for the segregated account client base* Manage projects effectively, ensuring workload is prioritised and deadlines are met* Maintain and develop relationships with key stakeholders including Client Relationship Management and Take-on teams, Legal & Compliance, Portfolio Management teams* Support other geographical regions as required, reflecting the global nature of the business* Contribute to wider initiatives and documentation aspects relating to other aspects of the businessWhat you bring:The ideal candidate for this Investment Management Agreement Specialist role is a qualified lawyer with at least 4 years PQE in a major law firm or in-house at a sell-side or buy-side financial institution. You will bring a sound understanding of the assetmanagement industry and knowledge of the client base of an institutional asset manager. Your in-depth knowledge of investment management agreements and ancillary agreements, coupled with your understanding of financial services regulation, will be crucialto your success in this role. You will also have a good working knowledge of funds in general and other commercial contracts within the asset management sector.
