As part of its culture and values, ARA Europe seeks to improve the built environmentof all our stakeholders through sustainable investing and development, people-centred design, and community engagement.Your role within the Asset Management TeamAsset Management Assist the team in performing quantitative and qualitative analysis to make asset management decisions. This could include:

• Lease Event initiatives
• Leasing
• Capital Expenditure Project Analysis
• Sustainability Analysis
• Exposure to third party service providers including property management, business rates, legal, technical advisers, and valuers.

Cashflow Analysis

• Update and analyse cashflows for asset management initiatives, including investment returns and debt analysis.
• Review and underwrite models for business plans.
• Help to perform hold / sell analysis of projects.

External and Internal Reporting

• Assist in producing external and internal reporting including:
• Portfolio and Asset Business Plans
• Monthly and Quarterly internal and client reporting
• Asset Management Memorandums for internal committees
• Development of presentations, assisting with financial and property analysis.
• Review market research using publicly available information and proprietary databases to identify, quantify and analyse.

Your role within the Investment TeamInvestment OpportunitiesIn co-ordination with the wider team, you’ll review and prioritise new investment opportunities for all investment vehicles spanning Core, Core Plus, and Value Add risk profiles. You will also assist the team during the due diligence and execution phase.This could include:

• Financial modelling
• Preparation of investment memorandums for internal committees
• Real Estate market analysis
• First exposure to the legal, technical, valuation and tax due diligence aspects of the transaction

Asset Management

• Assist the Asset Management Team in monitoring projects within the existing portfolio, such as letting progress and capex analysis.
• Help to perform hold / sell analysis of the projects and participate in the sale process when relevant.

Strategy

• Construct detailed and relevant data analysis based on a wide range of research materials for both market (new investment themes, geographies or sectors) and Business Plan presentations.

What we need from you

• Hold a property/real estate related degree whether undergraduate or postgraduate.
• Previous relevant experience (minimum 6 months) within the real estate, private equity, or investment sector is preferred.
• Able to think strategically to solve problems with an entrepreneurial and logical mind-set.
• Able to manage involvement in a number of simultaneous initiatives, deliver work to agreed deadlines and work well with a variety of individuals across a complex and evolving business.
• Able to synthesize and communicate complex matters effectively and concisely.
• Analytically rigorous and detail orientated, particularly in relation to numerical/financial analysis and written reports.
• Clear and concise communication and inter-personal skills (both verbal and written) in English. (French, Spanish and / or German would be beneficial)
• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Results oriented and able to present findings in a succinct manner.
• Can be proactive, hands-on and use initiative in a fast-paced environment.
