This role requires an in-depth understanding of, and experience in, UK and European;-Power Markets; structures, governing bodies, advisors, participants, support mechanisms, pricing dynamics etc-Energy Legislation; existing and in consultation, key legislative entities both Government and non-Gov, advisors, influencers, think tanks etc-Net Zero Markets; politics, trends, participants-Net Zero Technologies; renewables and other tech, TRLs, LCOEs, pros & cons, routes to market, barriers to entry, challengesSpecialised tasks will involve;-Ongoing research and monitoring of all relevant markets, participants, projects and trends-Conduct holistic / whole market analysis, including market participant SWOT analysis, to produce Market Reports-Collaborate with Investment Analyst to produce Investment Business Case-Disseminate intelligence and produce written briefs in various formats for internal and external use (including occasional media)A suitable candidate must;-Have very strong qualitative assessment skills-Have very strong communication, writing and presentation / report skills-Be capable of analysing large amounts of data quickly and thoroughly to extract, summarize and prioritize salient points-Work pro-actively individually, and collaboratively within the team-Be highly organised, follow procedures and meet timelinesA suitable candidate will likely;-Have 3 years relevant experience-Come from a power market stakeholder, consultancy or think tank-Be able to work in our central London officePiper Maddox is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
