Our client is a leading specialist global financier, who provides bespoke financing solutions to a diverse range of industry professionals across a multitude of asset classes, with a focus on major property developments in the UK, Europe and rest of the world. They are looking to hire a Senior Investment Analyst who will sit within the Deals Team and will be working on a wide range of asset types including residential, hotel, commercial and student real estate plus alternative areas. Responsibilities: Quantitative and qualitative appraisal of deals to establish whether they are worth pursuing. Work closely with the Junior Analysts to establish the most appropriate research strategy for each assignment. Conduct financial analysis including cash flow modelling, carrying out asset valuation and preparing development appraisals. Sensitivity and Scenario analysis. Prepare and and present first and final stage Credit Committee papers. Researching and providing market data on industry sectors and companies. Take full responsibility for proofreading client financial reports. Identifying critical issues regarding asset performance and evaluate impact and sensitivities to various inputs. Assist in collecting quarterly update on the properties (rent rolls, capex, opex, etc.) and analyse resulting portfolio. Assist in annual asset and portfolio review analysis. Identify qualitative, quantitative and market factors that will impact expected returns and profitability. Prepare materials in support of fundraising efforts (Senior and Mezzanine Debt) Follow up of the deals cash flows to assist in-house and investors accounting teams. Follow up of accounting budget to monitor deals tax / legal structure. Candidate Requirements 3-5 years of work experience in real estate banking, lending, investment or advisory. Minimum 2:1 Degree Strong Modelling skills Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint applications Excellent analytical skills Entrepreneurial spirit and results driven character Organised and thorough with good attention to detail Be able to work within UK without any sponsorship requirements MRICS is an advantage (but not essential) ACA is an advantage (but not essential) Argus proficiency is an advantage (but not essential) If you meet the requirements for this opportunity and you interested in learning more apply today.
