An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Intervention Tutor.The successful candidate will have experience of teaching and a good knowledge of Functional Skills and GCSE Maths and English and experience in working with learners with a rangeof Specific Learning Difficulties (SPLD) and/or disabilities in a Further Education setting. They will have a good understanding of intervention strategies to support learners who need additional support and have experience of supporting learners to achievepositive outcomes. They will also have excellent communication, IT, organisation and interpersonal skills.The ideal candidate will be confident in working with staff and students, providing advice, support and training. Candidates must demonstrate their commitmentto supporting all learners who require support on their chosen course, enabling them to access the curriculum and progress in their chosen career.
