Job Description

Pay: KR3 (£18,425 FTE) Start Date: 1st Nov (subject toDBS being returned) Water Meadows Primary School arelooking to recruit an Intervention Teaching Assistant to join ourteam. This is a great opportunity to make a real difference to the children.Ideallywe require someone with experience of working with very young childrenwho have additional educational, social and emotional needs. This role will beprimarily based in EYFS (children age 4-6) however this could change at theHeadteachers discretion. As an Intervention TA, youwould be working with individual and small groups of children to provideadditional support with reading, writing and mathematics, as well as supportingtheirsocial, emotional and mental needs. A knowledge of interventionprogrammes is an advantage, but not essential. The ideal candidate will becommitted to working in an inclusive framework, working closely with classteachers and the Special Educational Needs Coordinator.We are looking for high-calibreapplicants with a passion for learning and high expectations for all pupils. Wewant those who can bring motivation, energy and excellent communication skillsto the role.
