Job Description

Can you offer high-quality teaching and learning supportDo you want to make a difference to a young persons lifeDo you encourage your pupils to take a responsible and conscientious attitude to their own work and studyIf so, then this intervention TA role could be for you!We are looking for intervention teaching assistants to work in a small school with KS2 children to start as soon as possible in Lambeth.Benefits

Requirements
  • Experience working with children teaching in intervention groups
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to get one
  • Able to adapt to the different needs of each child and able to teach at their level
  • Flexibly adhere to the needs of the pupils in a professional and friendly manner
Responsibilities
  • Teaching a small group for interventions
  • Working with the teacher to discuss progress and the teaching focus in interventions
  • Able to manage behaviour and keep children engaged
