Job Description

International HR Advisor - Global Media Co - International Experience and Language Skills Needed - London - c£40k + great benefitsWere on the hunt for an exceptional HR Generalist, with international experience and fluency in a second language (ideally European), to join an incredible client in the media / music industry as an HR Advisor.Your previous experience and knowledge will ensure you are able to provide generalist HR support to the HR Business Partners who support teams in Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia.Suitable candidates will be resilient, highly organised and accurate with a dynamic and energetic nature. You will be experienced in working in a fast-paced, international environment and will have knowledge fo Microsoft 365 and Workday HRIS (ideally).Adegree in HR or similar and/or a professional HR Certification is highly desired.Key responsibilities as the International HR Advisor will include:

  • Tracking, driving and overseeing the joiner and leaver process for all employees assigned client groups
  • Managing all on-boarding, off-boarding, transfer requests and promotions for client groups, with the HR Shared Services team
  • Ensuring new starters have the right to work in the UK, obtaining proof of right to work and carrying out periodical audits
  • Overseeing and enhancing new joiner processes
  • Obtaining relevant references for new starters
  • Managing probation processes
  • Creating and maintaining HR files
  • Ensuring all employee changes (promotions, starters/leavers etc) are accurately capture on Workday
  • Monitoring holiday schemes
  • Providing first-line assistance with employee queries
  • Updating organisation charts
  • Reviewing policies and updating with any new legislations
  • Involvement in ad hoc project work
  • And more!
What were looking for:
  • Previous demonstrable HR generalist experience (min. 3 years) to include Employee Relations (ER), Organisational Development and Process Improvement
  • CIPD qualification or similar HR certification is highly desired
  • Degree in HR, Organisation Development or related field is preferable
  • Knowledge of European, Asian, African or Australian Employment Law is beneficial
  • Fluency in English and a second language (preferably a European language)
  • Good understanding of HR administration processes
  • Experience in a client facing HR role - dealing with general HR and payroll queries
  • HR database experience
  • Highly organised with ability to prioritise
  • Confident communicator
  • Flexibility to work across multiple time zones as required
  • Technologically savvy - working knowledge of Microsoft 365; knowledge of Workday HRIS is desirable
