Job Description

The National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) is a leading global organisation, which provides health, safety and environmental qualifications. Through our qualifications, learners and their employers can improve the lives of people around the world by keeping their colleagues and their communities safe from work-related accidents and ill-health.TheRole:We are now looking to further invest in the growth of our Business Excellence function by appointing a new Internal Quality Assurance Officer.As a member of this team, you will be part of developing a high quality service within NEBOSH, with a real opportunityto add value and shape the way NEBOSH embeds quality within our culture and supports our commitment to continuous improvement.You will be responsible for the successful delivery of our internal audit plan and contribute to the overall audit quality. Conductingcomprehensive internal ISO standard audits; supporting the continued accreditation to the existing standard, ISO 9001: 2015. Collaborate with colleagues who co-ordinate ISO standards 14001 and 45001, offering support and guidance as required Prepare and presentquality reports that reflect the results of audit work and clearly set out the key findings and actions/recommendations. Drive completion of internal compliance training courses across the organisation, ensuring regular monitoring is in place and actions takento address as appropriate Agreeing corrective and preventative actions (CAPA); validating the implementation and adherence to new processes and procedures. Collaborate with quality champions across the organisation to support the planned process audits Ensuringthat policies, processes and procedures are maintained, up-to-date and being followed throughout NEBOSH. Evaluate the design of controls in place and work with process owners and the business analyst to identify opportunities for improvement Facilitate auditsconducted by external auditors, in line with the business need. Contribute to activities that champion continuous improvement and innovationYou need: 3+ years experience of conducting internal audits to ISO standards as part of a QMS/EMS Experience of completing,accurate and on-time external compliance Ability to produce effective internal and external reporting Experience of shaping internal audit processes and timetables Skills in process mapping and identifying corrective and preventative actions High motivationand passionate about audit quality with a desire to seek new ways to drive improvement A willingness to work flexibly both as part of a team and as a self-directed individualWhats in it for youThis is an exciting time to be joining NEBOSH and a chance toadd to your CV as part of an established and forward-looking organisation, supporting the delivery of our strategic change programme.As well as the salary we offer a range of benefits including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, a generous group personalpension scheme, private health insurance, life assurance, Employee Assistance Programme, cycle scheme, hybrid working.
