Job Description

We are looking for an Internal Communications Manager for 3 months whilst our client waits for the permanent candidate to join the business. This is an immediate start position.In this position, you will support with the development, planning and delivery of engaging internal communications for our clients passionate staff.You will work closely with the senior leadership team and support them with their leadership and all staff communications. Ensuring all your colleagues are informed, empowered and able to do their best work.You will work closely with the HR, Marketing and Communications teams to help build a culture of learning and create a staff experience where all employees are heard, valued, included and connected to the organisations mission and vision.Responsibilities

  • Support with the development and implementation of an internal communication strategy for the organisation
  • Create high-quality internal communications content for the intranet, newsletters, internal campaigns, change communications projects and various internal events
  • Provide advice and training where appropriate that empowers employees to use the digital channels effectively
  • Support senior leaders and line managers with the tools and information required to cascade information effectively to engage staff and provide support, understanding and constructive feedback.
  • Work closely with HR and managers to ensure employee voice is heard, and two-way communication is central to the organisational culture.
  • Work closely with your marketing and communications colleagues to align internal and external messaging and campaigns, ensuring that our organisations brand is consistent for all audience groups.
  • Develop, manage, monitor and evaluate the internal framework to measure the success of internal communications campaigns and the impact on employee engagement.
Key skills and experience
  • Internal Communications experience
  • Experience delivering and working towards an organisations strategic plan
  • Creating engaging and impactful content for our clients workforce
  • Previous experience managing complex communications projects and balancing multiple, competing demands
  • Tactical delivery - ability to deliver across the wide range of internal communications tools and mechanisms
  • Excellent copywriting and copyediting skills - able to adapt your writing style and tone of voice for various communications channels and translate complex material into clear and compelling copy.
  • Ability to work with senior leaders with confidence and credibility
  • High-level stakeholder management skills - tact, diplomacy, discretion, clarity
