Every idea and perspective is valued so that our products reflect the people we serveour teachers and learners.What Does the Internship Program OfferSuccessful candidates will spend 10 weeks working with our technology teams.You will be paid for the duration of your internship. The internship begins on Monday, June 5th and ends Friday, August 11th.Job DescriptionAs a Cyber Security Analyst, you will develop expertise in information security, working collaboratively with the Security and Risk Management teams across IT and Chief Information Security Office (CISO). You will be helping Pearson analyze problems, workingwith technical partners and teams to understand the security architecture, product development and threat landscape, and assist in implementing and managing new security services and enabling tools and processes.What does the 10 weeks involveInterns will develop a broad knowledge of Cyber Security at Pearson, completing rotational placements across security functions within IT and CISO ranging from Security Operation Centre (SOC), threat intelligence, forensics investigations, risk management,product security through to security testing and vulnerability remediation. There will also be an opportunity to work and contribute to security architecture and security engineering initiatives.Minimum Requirements

• We are looking for Students pursuing a STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) with information security subjects or relevant work experience. This also includes students pursuing a degree in computer science, cyber security, softwareengineering, information security, engineering, or technology.
• Students should also have a basic familiarity of Cloud platforms, in particular AWS, Azure and/or Google. Experience in coding with Python or similar would be useful.
• Students should be well-rounded, able to communicate, and happy to take on new challenges.
• Critical thinking and flexibility is important, as you will be joining a versatile and agile Cyber Security team.
• Graduation date between December 2023 and May 2025.
• Intern should be within commutable distance of office location.
