LHH are currently partnered with an E-commerce giant who are looking for a VAT expert to support their advisory team both on on-going business activities carried out in the UK and some new initiatives, with occasional EU Retail Business projects. This iswill be for an initial 9 months and is paying from £300 to £500 per day depending on experience. The contractor must have demonstrable VAT experience with global consulting firm(s), law firm(s) or blue chip commercial organisations: a minimum of 5 years with robust UK VAT technical skills. Recognised professional tax qualification, chartered accountantor relevant law degree.* In-depth VAT technical knowledge (on both UK and cross-border VAT, with a post-Brexit exposure)* Excellent English, verbal and written, language skills.* Previous experience in the Retail and/or e-commerce sectors ideal, including product UK VAT liability determination, would be desirable
