Job Description

Our client, a Local Authority is seeking an experienced Senior Capital Project Manager in order to join their established capital project team. The successful candidate will be involved in the management of construction stages of the project lifecycle.Position: Senior Capital Project ManagerPeriod: 3 – 6 monthsHours: 2.5 days per weekLocation: LondonRate: £500 - £600 per day IR35 Status: Inside Responsibilities:

  • Management of the client side construction phase of an Adult Resource Centre which focus is to provide support to adults with learning disabilities
  • Development of good working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders such as the internal Adult Social Care team and external care provider to ensure project run smoothly and issues are quickly resolved
  • Dealing with project issues including health and safety, fire risk assessment and strategy in a creative manner while following policies and procedures in place
  • Managing a budget of up to £10million ensuring that progress allows project to be on time and to scope
    • Desired Experience:
  • Proven track record in delivering construction projects client side from initiation to completion in a local authority setting
  • Strong communication and people management skills
