Job Description

A leading European law firm has a vacancy for an experienced HR Systems Analyst to join their team on a 12 month fixed term contract. As a member of the HR team, the post-holder will be responsible for any implementation, development, and day-to-day managementof their various HR systems within the HR function. You will act as a Super User for the HRIS (Access People / Select HR) alongside other HR technologies that support recruitment and learning activity such as an ATS and LMS.The post holder will be the key point of liaison between the HR and IT departments and internal/external software providers.Key Responsibilities:Systems administration and development

  • Super user for all HR systems; providing operational system support, end user systems training if needed and act as an escalation point for HR system issues.
  • Take responsibility for regular system maintenance, including the testing and implementation of system upgrades or patches.
  • Further develop functionality of the various HR systems; in particular within the HRIS (Access/Select HR), which may involve the development of workflows, batch jobs, mail merges and working with data tables to create reports and import/export data.
  • Support the successful implementation of the LMS as the technical lead and help develop functionality of the system.
  • Effective project management skills, to ensure a logical, structured, and timely approach to delivery.
  • Effective communication and engagement with key stakeholders such as the HR Team, Technology Team, end users, Line Managers and Partners (where necessary).
Data Analytics
  • Generate and distribute pre-existing HR-based reports and run ad hoc reports as requested.
  • Work collaboratively with Partners, Managers, and team members in defining, designing, planning, documenting, and implementing reports to improve overall business function
  • Troubleshoot reporting issues, data audit issues as needed and work to resolve.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, metrics and other reports through manipulation, analysis, and visualisation of data to create compelling insight.
  • Support relevant cyclical HR activity such as pay reviews with production of reports, data, and analytics.
  • Utilise your in-depth experience and knowledge of Excel and PowerBI, to determine the most suitable software for effective analysis and visualisation, training others in the team where needed.
Person specification/skillsAs a member of the wider HR team, the post holder must be able to demonstrate a high level of integrity and confidentiality and the flexibility to support other team members if required.Essential
  • Super User or System Administrator level experience in Access People / Select HR or another HR system (preferably SQL based), including an ATS and LMS
  • Have experience of creating workflows, batch jobs, creating rules and other back off HR system process that support the integration with payroll and overall functionality
  • Experience of running HR System / IT projects
  • Technical skills such as basic SQL, HTML, and some exposure to SharePoint
  • Experience of using PowerBI and Excel or other software e.g. Tableau, Crystal reporting to analyse and visualise data.
  • Understanding of GDPR and best practice data management practices.
