Reed HR are working alongside a large Educational Establishment based in South West London who are recruiting for aHR Advisor on short notice for initially 3 months.This role is hybrid so travel into the office will be required.Key PurposeAn experiencedHR Advisor is requiredto join theHR team to work In close liaison with the establishmentsSenior Management Team, Heads of Departments, and internal stakeholders to provide professional generalist HR Advice on all matters of employee lifecycle.Provide a professional, high quality and customer focussed employee relations advisory service that fully reflect the businesssequal opportunity policy.Support the development of managers in people management through coaching and HR training when appropriate. To set up, develop and implement new processes and systems reviewing and improving standards letters, forms, and checklist.Main Duties and Responsibilities1. Responsible for all employee relation casework for allocated business areas ensuring all cases are managed effectively in accordance with policy and procedure.2. Provide an employee relation advisory service to your allocated areas.3. Maintain and update casework schedule and performance data on a regular.4. Advise on employee relation cases, such as sickness absence, performance capability, grievance, disciplinary, redundancy, change management, consultation (individual and collective) in accordance with agreed procedures and best practice.5. To provide advice and guidance in the preparation of investigation reports, disciplinary and grievance hearing as well as assist managers and support managers with preparation of appeals, and ACAS Conciliation.6. Advise, guide, coach and support line management on HR related matters, in line with HR policies ensuring legislative requirements are met and strong employee relations are facilitated and promoted.7. Draft correspondence, management briefing notes and reports, as required by the HR Manager, and to investigate and respond to complaints about the service8. To demonstrate model behaviours that, at all times, are consistent with an open, inclusive and participative style.9. To be proactive in identifying and pursuing opportunities that are appropriate to maintaining his/her professional development.10. To manage specific projects as directed by the HR Manager.
