Job Description

Are you a qualified senior finance professional from third sector seeking a new interim contract Are you confident in driving change and improvements within well-established teams Want to be a art of the Senior Management Team of a prestigious organisationIf yes, read on!My client is a not-for-profit organisation in West London, and are urgently seeking for a Head of Financial Operations to join them on an intital six months contract. This will be a hybrid working model and the immediate priority is driving change to createefficiencies within the team!The main responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team in financial accounting, financial control and payroll
  • Developing a culture of improvement within the Financial Accounting team and increased ownership of key financial processes
  • Taking ownership of year end, closure of month end, delivery of statutory accounts and management reporting
  • Having full oversight and ownership of general ledgers
  • Supporting internal stakeholders as the organisation transitions through a prolonged period of change by ensuring that financial processes are always operating in the best possible manner.
The successful candidate will be:
  • A Qualified Accountant with significant experience leading a finance function
  • A confident manager with exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Experienced in driving change and improvements within large and well established teams
