Job Description

Are you a technically gifted accountant with a strong capability for Finance and IT systems Are you looking to work in an evolving environment with a broad scope for change Are you a strong team leader keen on supporting the development of junior teammembersMy client is a Property provider in London that will see substantial change in the coming months.They are currently recruiting for an Interim Head of Finance and Systems on a 12 month FTC, with key responsibilities including:

  • Leading the integration of systems as two organisations merge to pool their resources
  • Ensuring finance other crucial systems are accurately maintained and administered
  • Taking the lead on income accounting, ensuring it is accurately reflected on the Finance system, and that charges increases are accurately updated
  • Line managing a team of qualified and part qualified accountants.
This role would particularly suit someone who trained in a large practice environment, ideally Big Four, and candidates from that background would be in a familiar company in this organisation.The role is based in an attractive London office a minimum of twice per week.Candidates will be selected based on the following criteria:
  • Hold a full accountancy qualification, ideally having trained in a large practice environment
  • Have strong technical skills, with an affinity for Systems including integration and/or data migration
  • Be a strong team leader with an interest in developing staff.
