Job Description

We are working with one of the UK’s most highly regarded international charities to recruit a commercially focussed Head of Corporate Finance. This role will report directly to the CFO and be responsible for leading the FP&A and business partnering function for operations but require a hands-on approach.You will drive the development of reporting and analysis and work closely with the CFO to provide support through a critical time whilst embedding the new structure. This role is interim for 6 months but may go beyond this.Responsibilities will include;

  • Leading preparation on management accounts, analysis and commentary
  • Leading on budgeting and planning process ensuring the new strategic plan is aligned
  • Presenting on performance to SLT
  • Line management of the team of a team of four
  • Assessing the impact of the new organisation-wide transformation programme
  • Developing reporting and analysis including restricted funding reporting
  • Lead the finance business partnering support to HR and IT, ensuring understanding and providing meaningful analysis and management reporting
  • Supporting development of business cases and increased control of capital projects
  • Supporting the development of strategic financial planning model and other projects requiring improvement/transformation
    • The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified CCAB accountant with experience leading an FP&A function in a large and complex organisation. You will have strong financial modelling skills and have experience business partnering with executive leaders. Experience in the charity sector is desirable.
