Job Description

Communicate are working with a dynamic retail business, as we support with the recruitment of a Group Reporting Manager to start with immediate effect.This is a temp role for an initial 2 months and will be rolling from there. Pay rate has been briefed as up to £75,000 and will be paid on an FTC.Remote role with a view to be based in the Central London H/O at the appropriate time.The role:

  • Technical reporting with a strong focus on USGAAP, IFRS and UKGAAP
  • Ownership of reports to the Board (detailed commentary and analysis of current performance against budgets / forecasts).
  • Deliver timely financial and statutory reporting for the consolidated Group.
  • Liaison with non-finance Directors.
  • Oversee the preparation of the consolidated company accounts, including budgets & forecasts,
  • Provide accounting & analytical support for acquisitions, disposals or other transactions; provide financial information during due diligence processes.
  • Liaise with all relevant external bodies e.g. auditors, lawyers etc…
    • Requirements
  • Qualified accountant (ACA/CA/ACCA)
  • Audit and Big 4 background preferrential
  • 5 years PQE + in industry/or experience as an Audit Manager in Practice
  • Ideally come from a retail or hospitality background or have had exposure to these clients
  • Extensive experience in group consolidation
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
