Job Description

Communicate are partnering with a well-known luxury retail brand as they look to bolster their finance function as they aim to continue their growth before listing.We are recruiting for an Interim Group Financial Reporting Lead who can start immediately/in June, for a period of 3 - 6 months as they look to go through an international IPO.The role will be London based 50% of the time, and will have sole responsibility for financial reporting, auditors, year-end and preparing the annual report.Key requirements and responsibilites:

  • A qualified accountant, ACA/ACCA/CPA is preferred due to the financial accounting and reporting aspects of the role,
  • However, 4-7 years PQE in financial reporting/technical accounting within listed or complex businesses, would be highly desirable,
  • Accountable for the financial statements for all Group and UK statutory entities (IFRS),
  • Owner of all accounting policies for all processes and activities, with expected changes to USGAAP/IFRS,
  • Good knowledge of IFRS is essential including current and upcoming accounting standards,
  • Outside IR35 day rate role - £500 - £700 p/day DOE.
