Job Description

  • Interim Financial Services Accountant for a South East London based university.
  • 6 month contract, with flexibilty in role.
Client DetailsA South-East London based, constituent research university of the University of London in England with an enrollment of just over 8,000 students.Description
  • Automate the posting of the daily web receipts files, working closely with Agresso/BusinessWorld (BW) internal support team
  • Improve comms and speed of response times regarding tracking down coding for unknown bank transactions
  • Policy note update for PDQ PCI DSS compliance and replacing of the non-print payment functionality of P-Counter prepayment card
  • Automate bank reconciliation for transaction matching - requiring documentation of current process, understanding of BW functionality (used and unused), pragmatic solution, testing and implementation
  • Update cash systems policy and procedure documentation
  • Student receipts - paperless DDR and repeating card payments - documentation of preferred solution, testing and implementation
  • To ensure delivery of the cash/income team projects with little need for hands-on from line manager
  • Should the current member of the team on sick leave come back earlier than expected, to manage areas in AP and AR to help develop & deliver process changes, plus discrete project work in other Finance HoDs teams
Profile
  • ACA qualified ex-professional services audit trainee with experience in larger commercial organisations audit and real world
Job Offer
  • Mid March start
  • 6 month contract
  • £300 per day (inside ir35)
  • Hybrid working (1 day on site per week)
