Job Description

Interim Senior Financial Controller - Sport 9 month FTC - potential to go perm£100-110kCentral London Based (Hybrid)Start Date: ASAPTalentedge are exclusively working with a leading sports media business who require a senior interim controller to join their fast-paced team during an exceptionally busy period of the year. This position will be responsible for overseeing the financialand management accounting function, as well as improving the reporting processes across the business.Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the accounting integration of acquisitions and quickly establish robust financial controls aligning to group accounting policies.
  • Management of central accounting operations, overseeing all transactions related to general ledger, receivables, payables, cash accounting, payroll, tax compliance and financial reporting.
  • Ownership in developing and implementing new accounting policies and procedures, responding to changes in GAAP, tax and regulatory requirements
  • Direct financial planning and reporting on financial performance
  • Coordinating and managing the annual group, UK and EMEA audits
The ideal candidate will have:
  • ACA/ACCA qualification with 7+ years PQE
  • Previous experience managing a finance team is a must
  • Extensive experience working with Workday ERP
  • Prior experience working in a multi-national business
