Job Description

Are you a Financial Accounting Manager looking for an exciting new hands-on opportunity Do you have experience in the production of Statutory Accounts and external audit Are you available immediately or on a short notice period If so, read on…My client, a leading charity with a turnover of £100m+ is seeking an interim Financial Accounting Manager to bolster their finance team on an initial 9-month temporary basis.The main responsibilities of the interim Financial Accounting Manager are:

  • Producing and delivering the statutory accounts
  • Manage the year end close, month end and the external audit process
  • Managing 2 qualified financial accounts and 2 finance officers
  • Routine month end activities including reporting and commentary and journals
My client is looking for:
  • Experience of managing a team of 2+
  • Charity accounting (SORP) experience is desirable
  • A qualified accountant in ACA, ACCA, CIMA (or equivalent)
  • Advanced excel skills and the ability to manipulate data
Based in Central London, my client offers hybrid working with 2 days a week in the office and 3 from home for the whole duration of the contract, and the potential for the role to go permanent.Applications are under constant review and the post can close early if the right candidate is found.
